KITTS HILL, Ohio ÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ” A woman died in a side-by-side accident Monday in Lawrence County, Ohio.
The off-road accident occurred at about 5 p.m. near County Road 30 in Kitts Hill, according to Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless.
The UTV, a 2019 Honda Pioneer 700, overturned while attempting a low-speed maneuver, according to the sheriffÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ™s office.
Emergency responders found Emilie Gail Maynard, 46, of Ashland, unresponsive next to the UTV and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The vehicleÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ™s driver, an 18-year-old woman, and middle passenger, a 13-year-old juvenile, both of Huntington, were uninjured.
Lawless said in a news release Tuesday that field sobriety testing of the driver showed no impairment, and the preliminary investigation of the incident found no evidence of mechanical failure, alcohol, drugs or foul play.
The driverÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ™s belt was buckled but unused, while the passenger side belt was unlatched, according to the release.
The Lawrence County CoronerÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ™s Office has scheduled an external examination and the SheriffÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ™s Office continues to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lawrence County SheriffÈËÑýÉ«ÇéƬ™s Office at 740-532-3525.
