The Coal Grove senior right-hander struck out all 15 batters and pitched a perfect game as the Hornets defeated Fairland 10-0 on Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference high school softball game.
Izzy Kitts hit a home run and knocked in three runs. Braelie Hitchcock drove in two runs. Mia Haynes went 3 for 3. Deeds scored the only run she needed in the first inning when she singled, stole second base, moved to third on a fielderÈËÑýÉ«Ç鯬™s choice and came home on a passed ball.
Coal Grove improved to 11-3 and 8-1 in the OVC. The Dragons dipped to 0-16, 0-9.

SYMMES VALLEY 11, EASTERN PIKE 1: The Vikings, top-ranked in Ohio Division VII, beat the Eagles in Aid, Ohio, to clinch at least a share of the Southern Ohio Conference Division 2 title.
Brenna Tibbs hurled a one-hitter, fanning 14 of the 15 batters she faced as Symmes Valley improved to 20-1, including 8-0 in the league. The Vikings led 3-0 before scoring seven runs in the fourth inning to pull away.
Addi Ridenour went 3 for 3, Tibbs was 3 for 4 and Emma Ridenour went 2 for 4. Lindsey Freeman hit a home run.
Eastern fell to 10-6 and 2-3 in the SOC.
WAHAMA 21, SOUTHERN 4: Elissa Hoffman and Kalyn Christian each drove in five runs in the White FalconsÈËÑýÉ«Ç鯬™ rout of the Tornadoes in Racine, Ohio.
Wahama (21-4) smashed 22 hits. Christian slapped four. Hoffman, Payton Staats, Kate Reynolds and Audrey Reynolds smacked three hits apiece. Audrey Reynolds knocked in three runs. Christian, Kate Reynolds and Fiona VanMatre scored four runs apiece.
Hoffman earned the win.
Peyton Kranyik had four hits for Southern (13-3).

BOYD COUNTY 5, EAST CARTER 4: The Lions (18-3) ran their winning streak to 16 by nipping the Raiders in Cannonsburg, Kentucky.
Josh Kelley went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. Brayden Coleman and Conner Davis each had two hits. Davis stole two bases. Brayden Nunley was the winning pitcher. Isaac Leeper picked up a save.
East Carter dipped to 14-8.
SYMMES VALLEY 16, EASTERN PIKE 2: Tanner Thompson and Will Jones each drove home four runs to lead the Vikings past the Eagles in Aid, Ohio.
Thompson went 3 for 3 with one double. Jones was 3 for 4 with a triple. Tanner Corn pitched a three-hitter and went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Jackson Fields knocked in a pair of runs. Braden Hankins went 2 for 2.
Symmes Valley (10-5, 5-2 Southern Ohio Conference) put the game away early, scoring 11 runs in the first inning.
Eastern fell to 1-11 and 1-4 in the SOC.
GREEN 8, IRONTON ST. JOE 7: The Bobcats clinched at least a tie for the SOC Division I championship with a 10-inning triumph over the host Flyers (5-5, 2-4 SOC).
Green (12-3, 8-0) can secure the title outright if it wins at Portsmouth Notre Dame on Wednesday.
The Bobcats trailed 7-3 before scoring four runs in the top of the seventh inning. Landon Kimbler hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th to plate Kase McIntyre with the winning run.
Jon Knapp picked up the win in relief and went 2 for 5. Kimbler drove in two runs.
For St. Joe, Landon Rowe was 4 for 5. Mason Weber batted in three runs and Carson Willis knocked in two. Beckham Waginger went 3 for 4 and Wes Neal was 3 for 5.
RUSSELL 17, LEWIS COUNTY 2: Kyle Mokas, Jacob Tolliver and Elijah Hankins knocked in two runs apiece as the host Red Devils (13-9) walloped the Lions (3-15) in 63rd District seeding.
Mokas went 3 for 4 and was the winning pitcher.
POINT PLEASANT 10, SOUTHERN 2: Tre Gillispie and Carson Finnicum each knocked in two hits to lead the Big Blacks by the Tornadoes in Racine, Ohio.
Gillispie, Carsen Lambert, Zakk Jordan, Trycen Putney and Anthony Marrero smacked two hits apiece.
Anthony Whobrey swatted two hits for Southern (8-4).
